The Bible states that the wages of sin is death.  That is the bad news.  The good news is that Jesus paid the debt for those who believe.  This is the best news ever!  Jesus Christ died for our sins and according to the Gospel was crucified, buried and was resurrected on the third day.  God's love for each and every individual is amazing.  He provided the way out of an eternity separated from Him.  He envelopes those who trust in His son Jesus Christ in a ocean of grace that can never be exhausted.  The grace that God extends believers is unmerited in that there is nothing we can do to earn it.   The Bible teaches that we are justified through faith and not through works.  It is faith in Jesus that brings salvation and eternal life with God.  It is by God's grace that every believer has been saved, through their faith in Jesus.   The Bible teaches that this is not from ourselves but it is a gift from God.  God calls sinners to Himself to offer this amazing grace.  You are not at this website now by accident or by chance.  God is calling everyone to Himself either to salvation through Jesus or to a deeper relationship with Him as believers.  If you have already professed faith in Jesus as your Savior thank God now for His amazing grace.  To learn more about having a relationship with God see the About Relationship section.

Scripture References:

  • 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.   Ephesians 2:1-9
  • Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.  Romans 5:1-2
